POW is a five-member South Korean K-Pop boy group under GRID Entertainment. Debuted on October 11, 2023, the group is known for their refreshing pop-punk and R&B sound.

The 5 members are Jungbin, Yorch, Hyunbin, Dongyeon, and Hong. They released a pre-debut song, Favorite, from their debut EP with the same title. On their official debut, they released the title track, Dazzling.

Biography and Fame

GRID Entertainment brought POW to be an energetic group, aiming to bring explosive energy to the industry with a European youth culture theme. Their visual concept is popping, supporting the whole theme.

Some members are already quite well-known before their debut, particularly Yorch, who was a former Thai child actor and former Big Hit’s Trainee A. Dongyeon also has a pretty loyal fanbase since he participated in a K-Pop survival show, Loud (2021).

Other members, Hyunbin, Jungbin, and Hong, are strong vocalists, each with their own unique charms, completing the group beautifully.

The name POW was chosen, inspired by the onomatopoeia for an explosion that is often used in comic books. It symbolizes their goal of bringing freshness, excitement, fun, explosive energy, and joyful experience to the K-Pop scene.

The pre-debut song Favorite introduced the group’s music color, which is nostalgic with the touch of pop-punk sound.

It built initial buzz for their official debut. Their other songs, like Amazing (2023), Boyfriend (2024), Being Tender (2025), and Wall Flowers (2025), are also fan favorites.

The group’s slogan is “Creating Culture Everyday,” which means their ambition is to make an impact across various fields, not only music, but also fashion.
